As the winter play, Mr.Burns comes to an end, excitement for the spring musical begins to spark. From February 15-17, the Hayfield Theater Department will be holding a workshop, audition, and callbacks for the musical Beauty And The Beast. During the workshop, auditionees will learn the dances, songs, and lines. Unlike Mr.Burns and Addams Family, this show is open to all grade levels to participate in.
Being in shows with the Hayfield Drama-hawks is a great way to meet new people and find a new hobby or activity. During the rehearsal process, a community is built while students work together to put on an amazing performance. Students who aren’t interested in being on stage are highly encouraged to apply for the Tech Team to help out with the backstage aspects of the show like set building, sound, lighting, and even hair and makeup.
